Once you configured ProxyWay to work with CGI proxies, you don't need to visit a CGI proxy web site any time you want to surf the Internet anonymously - just type the url of the web site you want to visit in your browser and you'll surf through the selected CGI proxy. Using ProxyWay you can easily work with a list of CGI proxies, change CGI proxies (switch web proxies) manually or automatically (change CGI proxy server per time, per request), create proxy chains with CGI proxies or use CGI proxies alone, import CGI proxy list or add CGI proxy to proxy list manually.

Change User-Agent - prevents visited sites from detecting the browser type and operating system you are using.
Change Referrer field - hides your previously viewed web pages from the web sites you visit and other outside parties.

Why you should change HTTP header (change User Agent, change referrer field)
When you visit a website your browser always sends information about your OS , browser and web site/page you came from to web site you visit. This information can be used by hackers and identity thieves to know weakness of your PC so they can send virus to your PC, get access to your PC and steal personal information.
ProxyWay Extra prevents visited sites and other third parties from detecting information about your computer - you can select:
- various Operating systems (Mac OS, Linux, Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows Vista);
- browser type (Safari, Firefox, Netscape, Opera, Internet Explorer)
- referrer field information (Field blocked by ProxyWay Extra, Empty Referrer field, 'http://www.proxyway.com/' and Don't change referrer field if you don't want your referrer field is changed ). If you want to enter your own referrer field information, you can select "Custom Referrer field" option and enter necessary information.
